A partnership of vulnerability and bravery. You're like a sculpture, at least in the first two images, less so in the third which shows your face, a beautiful, living sculpture. But then, looking closer, so many amazing pores, quite a patina, and a rich, mercurial sheen soaking through. The body, your body, your home, is amazing! It flows, and yet, is contained, a root, a core. Kudos to you and to the photographer, both of whom, I think, have expressed you well.

Thank you for seeing me 🖤
It is a privilege, Grace. I also want to recognize what you said with your words, about the things that you have experienced and the challenges you've faced and still face; it is good to articulate that, and inspiring to see you reclaiming your body as your own. For me as a visitor, it is important not to view you with a "male gaze"; in other words, important to maintain a distinction between a meaningful pleasure that you enable and something more negative, potentially, from my gaze. So, I prefer to equate the portraits with what they remind me of: the famous black-and-white pictures of bell peppers taken by Edward Weston way back in the 1930's. https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.artsy.net%2Fartwork%2Fedward-weston-pepper-no-30-12&psig=AOvVaw1KP15A2jVW-AK3xVKW243T&ust=1736964883966000&source=images&cd=vfe&opi=89978449&ved=0CBEQjRxqFwoTCKjQ3czo9YoDFQAAAAAdAAAAABAE
